Growing talent, Discovering opportunities

Link Yid Mentorship Program, provides free support and mentoring services to entrepreneurs or those seeking employment in established businesses. Our free program exemplifies the Jewish tradition of tzedakah by giving our mentors' time, skills and wisdom to those pursuing exciting new opportunities. We believe that by providing needed services, these individuals will themselves become thriving members of our community. We will alleviate a fraction of the poverty issues within BC and we will foster their greater involvement in the Jewish community and ultimately they will give back.

LinkYid believes strongly in the Jewish tradition of tzedakah. Tzedakah is the Hebrew word for charitable acts--giving aid, assistance and/or money to those in need. The word tzedakah is derived from the Hebrew root, tzadei-dalet- qof, meaning righteousness, justice or fairness. In Judaism, the act of giving is not viewed as a generous, magnanimous act; it is simply an act of justice and righteousness; it is our duty.
