Growing talent, Discovering opportunities
Link Yid Mentorship Program, provides free support and mentoring services to entrepreneurs or those seeking employment in established businesses. Our free program exemplifies the Jewish tradition of tzedakah by giving our mentors' time, skills and wisdom to those pursuing exciting new opportunities. We believe that by providing needed services, these individuals will themselves become thriving members of our community. We will alleviate a fraction of the poverty issues within BC and we will foster their greater involvement in the Jewish community and ultimately they will give back.
Link Yid provides a sense of community and accepts all applicants; we accept all applications regardless of stage of development or quality of venture. The nature of the venture’s business must be legal. Probability of success is not a factor. We are confident we have members of the community in all spectrum of the business and professional community.
All engagement with JVMS is confidential and under nondisclosure.
LinkYid takes pride in the high caliber of professionals who call themselves mentors. Our mentors comprise a best-in-class network of business executives and professionals from all industries and backgrounds. LinkYid supports entrepreneurs by matching business mentees with mentors for their benefit, and the benefit of the community as a whole.LinkYid believes strongly in the Jewish tradition of tzedakah. Tzedakah is the Hebrew word for charitable acts--giving aid, assistance and/or money to those in need. The word tzedakah is derived from the Hebrew root, tzadei-dalet- qof, meaning righteousness, justice or fairness. In Judaism, the act of giving is not viewed as a generous, magnanimous act; it is simply an act of justice and righteousness; it is our duty.
